Thinking of You-Penny Black

I created this card for the current Penny Black Saturday challenge. The theme is call "in the garden" I used liquid pearls but i dont think they came out like they were supposed to. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the white base of my card and inked it with a light purple colorbox ink. I also used my Martha Steward decorative punch on my purple accent. Hope you like it.

Mother's Day challenges

Once again, i am playing in some challenges, this time is another Mother's Day card which is just perfect for me cuz i get to create and also working on having enough cards to mail my friends and family. I hope you like this one too, is one of the penny black stamps and i used a very  old paper from DCWV (the crafty stack). Is a square card and i left it very simple but I like it anyways, i figure the image was enough.

For the boys!!!

This is the card i made for a cousin in my husband's family, he is a very close to my in laws and i figure he would enjoy this card. the inside has a Happy birthday message. The stamp is one that I found on a thrift store close to where I live. I am not sure from where but i really like it. I colored it using my color pencils and the odorless pain thinner from Michael's, I found the technique on YouTube and since i have not been able to find gamsol, i figure i should give it a go. I really like it how it turned out. The paper is one of the DCWV older stacks and i matted everything on black recollections cardstock. This is a A2 size card. I hope you like it and thank you for looking.

Happy Birthday

It's time for another Penny Black challenge. I decide to use a birthday card. I just love the hedgehogs. I kept this card very simple but i really love how it turned out. I also use my cuttlebug folders, and some nestabilities to cut the sames. Best of luck to everyone. The flowers are from my long ago and i added some blue brads. I inked around the edges on my scallop circle with pink chalk ink from colorbox and use one of my unity stamps sentiment. Thank you for looking

Engagement Card-wild card

DSC01168DSC01169
I made this card using my cricut and the Wild Card cartridge. I have seen so many of the talented ladies use this shape card that I wanted to try it. I cut the card and envelope at 5 inches. I only have the 12x12 mat so it was the biggest I was able to cut the envelope. I use some prima flowers and heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing power. The tag was cut from Storybook cartridge and the happy couple from the Sweethearts cartridge at 3 1/2 inches. the lady’s arm was so delicate that I had to cut it 3 time before it came just right.
I faux stitched all around the card to give it some character and on the front I cut a circle with my Martha Steward circle cutter  in the same color cardstock from the inside of the card. I love how it came out!!!
