Baby Tommy

This is the most adorable picture of my sweet baby boy. Can you believe he is only 4 months??? He is huge.!!! lol
I love his smile and he always lets me take lots of pictures of him, maybe cuz he can't escape yet like his sisters do. I wanted to use this beautiful paper I found on clearence at my local michaels, he is the love of my life. I always thought i was a better mother for girls, never expected to have a boy, I knew how much work they could be, but I am so thankful God let me be the mom of this little boy. This a regular 12x12 layout, I used some embelishments but I really didnt do much to the page, I kept it very simple. I use my lovely create a critter cricut cartridge...wow say that 3 times over lol
I hope one day he likes all the pages I make for him, I have not done any journeling but I will do it soon

Teacher appreciation card

I was inspired by one of the cards submitted on MY PINK STAMPER's blog, this is my version of the one I liked. This is a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded in half, I used Create a critter cart, DCWV glitter paper ( im in love with this paper) is very thick but i cut it with the glitter side on the sticky mat and my blade on 6. Normally I have to flip the image so i get the right result. The flower is from prima Got Flowers? collection, embossed in Zing black glitter powder. I was so happy how this card came out. I have just recently been creating cards after watching so many tutorial on youtube. I have to work on my lighting for taking the pictures, is my first time and since I do it for myself i guess is fine.

Happiness

this layout is one of my youngest daughter Violet, this picture was taken when she was 3 months, she is always been such a happy baby, the flourishes are from prima and the scallop circle was handmade. the snowflakes were done from the shadow feature of Home Accents and glitter with the Martha Stewart fine glitter. the flowers were made by me, with the MS heart punch and following a tutorial I found on youtube. the stickers I found in the clearence section of Michaels, but I just love how the colors work so well together.

Sleeping Baby

I finally got my cricut expression and I've been dying to create a layout or something with it. I wanted to do something nice and for a baby. I has so many ideas but unfortunatly I did not have any baby paper. LOL
My husband almost had a heart attack when I told him that, he was kinda serious when he said I probably had most of the paper section from Michaels and ACMoore in our boiler room :)
I tried to organized all of my supplies by themes, I have school, wedding, vacation, beach, halloween, christmas and easter/spring. But no baby, which I think is funny because I have a 5 month old and a two year old and over 1000 pictures of my oldest daughter which I still have to put on her book. I was working and going to school when I had my first two kids so scrapbooking was never a priority, now I am using my time to create each of my kids a book that one day they would like to take and look at when they grow up. Journouling is fun, because when I look at the picture I can remember every detail and why its special, but I figure if I keep waiting I might not be able to do it....

Christmas Card Layout

I made this layout last night, i wanted to used the christmas cards for the past year, this are my two oldest dauthers in front of the tree. I was quite a task trying to get a picture of the two of them smiling. Violet was just a complete pain the entire time. I was 9 months pregnant with Tommy and Violet was not in the mood of taking pictures, but I was going for my c-section two days after and I wanted to make sure I would send the cards before the holidays...hehehehe
Illyanna was such a great girl, she just kept smiling even though her little sister kept pulling her hair and crying. I think is because I let her wear my husbands grandmother's pearls. SHe felt so grown up. I use some Making memories christmas paper and some homemade flowers.

All Doll Up

This layout was done for the picture of my oldest daughter Illyanna, this was back in April when she had her annual Brownies father/daughter dance. This year she wanted my husband Tom to go with her, she was so very excited to getting all dress up and going out with da-da, as she calls him. She is very close to her father, but since she lives with my husband and I she is gotten very attach to him as well, specially cuz both of her yournger siblings call him da-da and are completely daddy's kids :)
He works very much, specially since I have lost my job, and I normally stay home with the kids, all day long is mommy, mommy, mommy but the moment my husband comes home the kids forget Im even around and all they want is Daddy. WHich is a great thing for me as a need a few minutes for myself, but is hard for my husband cuz he comes home from a long day of work and he is very tired.

Independence Day

Ok so Im a little late with posting the picture of this layout, but since i'm the only one who sees this blog is ok, lol.
I made this layout becasue I was able to save up enough money to buy my Independence day cartridge shortly after the holiday, I have a few pictures of my children in their patriotic outfits that I want to put in this layout. I cut for the cricut cartridge were done at 3 1/2, the photo mats where embossed using my cuttlebug and the stars embossing folder. The white florish on the left is from 2 cuts joined together from the Home Decor cartridge. The one in the corner on the right side is the shift version of a florish from the Home Accents. the I heart USA was cuttlebug with my swiss dots embossing foldre. I distress the edges around the entire layout and used a blue color pad from colorbox.
